Discovery Workshop Toolkit

Discovery Workshop Toolkit

Every project that we undertake for a client always begins with some level of Discovery. This happens regardless of whether it is the redesign of an individual feature or the design and development of a full website and supporting apps with multiple product verticals.

The purpose of the Discovery process is to understand the customer’s goals and issues they are currently encountering to ultimately be able to craft a suitable solution. The variation in the Discovery process from project to project is primarily the tools that are used to help define the solution, which are always chosen based on the required outcomes.

At Degree 53, the Discovery process is owned by the Business Analyst team, but is always supported by key members of our UX/UI Design, Development and Quality Assurance teams.

Over the years, we have found a number of exercises to be particularly useful and regularly find their way into Discovery processes, so have created a Discovery Toolkit, which is a collection of these exercises that we are happy to share with people.

If you have any Discovery exercises that you find useful that we haven’t included, please get in touch - we would love to hear from you.
